RADIO: My Passion, My Purpose – Personal Statement

For as long as I can remember, I have always gravitated to music, in fact, I can honestly say, that I am spiritually connected to music. My collection ranges from Maynard Ferguson to Mary J. Blige, Leon Ware to Luther Vandross, Fantasia to Fat Joe. I have been blessed to be exposed to soul music from both the past and present, to grow with it, and to evolve with the changes while maintaining respect for its foundation.

Naturally, this genuine love transformed into my radio career. I know that I am blessed to promote "the feeling" that music brings and I am thankful to God for that. I am confident that RADIO is my DESTINY. As a woman, I understand the importance of having a strong presence, no matter what side of the mic I am on. Similarly, I understand the signficance of being relateable to the female listening audience and how to execute strategies to maximize listenership among the target demo.

My success this far, is based on my spiritual foundation and my personal relationship with God. Hard work, perseverence and determination continue to carry me towards my destiny, and I am eager to explore the opportunities ahead of me. I wholeheartedly believe that Love NEVER Fails, I LOVE Radio…and firmly believe that success is the only outcome for me.
